The
Kiwanis Club of Northridge is a volunteer service organization comprised of community-minded men and women from all walks of life. Our goal is to offer help to those in need in the Northridge area.
Our main focus is in helping children. We do this by identifying needs and then rendering service to help fulfill those needs. In some cases, we need to raise money in order to help. When we do raise money from public fundraising events, 100% of the monies raised go back to the community in the form of service projects and direct help to those in need.
We have been active in the Northridge community since 1949. We are the organization that raises the American Flags along Reseda Blvd., Chatsworth Street, Nordhoff Street, Devonshire Street, and Sepulveda Blvd. We are proud, lifetime members of the North Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, and we maintain close ties with Councilman Mitchell Englander's office, Los Angeles Police Department Devonshire Station, SOLID, and the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.
We are always looking for individuals who are looking for a way to give back to their community. We meet for lunch on Thursdays, at 12:10 PM, at the Orange Grove Bistro, on the CSUN campus. You are welcome to stop by, join us for lunch, and see who we are and what we do.
